Thanks to our generous book donors, we have more books to sort and distribute to school libraries. Rotarians gathered to help sort out books to be distributed to the the appropriate schools    Thanks to generous book donors, the school library of Sekolah Kebangsaan Kulim Bandar, Kulim enjoyed a boost in their collection. The donated books were delivered by President Prassana, accompanied by Rotarians Saravana and Ahmad Rizuan.   Official opening of refurbished toilets sponsored by a community service grant from OCBC Al-Amin Bank for SJKT Saraswathy. The opening was officiated by OCBC Al-Amin Sungai Petani Manager Mr Soo.    Books Donation to 4 school libraries:
1) SJKC Sin Min (B), SP 2) SJKT Saraswathy, SP 3) SJKT Kulim, Kulim 4) SK Kulim Bandar, Kulim  Distributed 500 bags for needy students to prepare for the new school year 2024 in March. Attended by En Syaifulyazam bin Abdul Jalil, Penolong Pegawai Pendidikan Daerah Kuala Muda/Yan, Mr Soo, OCBC Al-Amin Bank, teachers and students of the following schools: SK Jalan Sekerat SJKT Mahajothi SJKT Saraswathy SJKT Somasundram SJKC Lin Khay SJKT Binjol SJKT Ladang Malakoff SJKT Ladang Katumba SJKT Ladang Padang Meiha SMK Dato Bijaya Setia This project was in collaboration with Yayasan Kelab-Kelab Rotary Malaysia.          More bags were delivered to schools...    OCBC Al-Amin's CSR project aims to promote financial literacy among students at SRKT Saraswathy School. Date: 5th November 2023 (Sunday) Time: 7:30 am Venue: SRKT Saraswathy School, Dewan (during the student assembly) The primary objective of the event is to educate students about the importance of saving money in a bank and financial management skills. We believe that by imparting this knowledge at an early age, we can empower the students to make informed financial decisions in the future.      Project Site Visit  In line with the current increasing need for early STEM exposure of our young generation to better compete globally, Micron Foundation's sponsorship of laptops to schools in the region is the catalyst. The much-needed machines to increase exposure and learning of STEM were delivered to 9 schools in Penang and Kedah.
