The first stop in DG Teoh and District First Lady Kim's visit was to our joint project of constructing a walkway for students of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato' Bijaya Setia which was just completed. This was followed by Governor Teoh's meeting with the Club and the Rotaract Club of AIMST University. Governor Teoh and First Lady Kim visited our Charter President Dato Dr Subramaniam who was admitted at Hospital Sultan Abdul Halim, followed by fellowship dinner and Induction of Rotarians Komathi and Saravanan Naraja. Thank you, Governor and First Lady for your visit, friendship and words of encouragement and advice.

Incoming President Prassana led a delegation of 10 Rotarians from Rotary Club of Bandar Sungai Petani to the 89th District Training Assembly at G Hotel Penang on 30th April. Incoming Assistant Governor Koek was moderator at one of the breakout rooms. It was an inspiring and enlightening event put together by Incoming District 3300 Malaysia Governor Dato' Dr Siva Ananthan and Incoming District Trainer PDG Teoh Kwan Swee, and team. The host club was Rotary Club of Tanjung Bungah. Rotary International President-elect Gordon McInally addressed the Assembly via Zoom from Scotland and took questions fielded by Rotarians from the floor. Rotary Club of Bandar Sungai Petani's first lady President will take the helm on 1 July 2023 after completing her comprehensive training facilitated by District 3300 Malaysia on 29 April at G Hotel Penang. On stage were Incoming District Trainer PDG Teoh Kwan Swee, Incoming District Governor Dato' Dr Siva Ananthan, Incoming President Prassana and Incoming Assistant Governor of Group 1, Koek Yee Jeen. President Thiaggu led a delegation of 10 Rotarians from Rotary Club of Bandar Sungai Petani to the Vibrant Club Seminar hosted by Rotary Club of Alor Star and conducted by the District Training Team. President-Elect Prassana joined other PEs in District 3300 for training at Eco-Venture Resort in Semenyih before taking office on 1 July 2022. It was full of positive vibes. The theme of the year is "Clubs Come First"
In conjunction with World Polio Day and Deepavali on 24 October, Rotary International District 3300 shared a Deepavali fellowship meal on 2 November 2022. This was hosted by Rotary Club of Bandar Sungai Petani at President Thiaggu Letchumanan's home. District Governor Dr Krishna Kumar and District First Lady PAG Pushpa attended in person after his official visit to the club. A total of 80 Rotarians attended in person and on hybrid zoom. In a glittering installation ceremony Outgoing President Gopaldhass passed over the jewel of the presidency to install Incoming President Thiaggu as the 13th President of Rotary Club of Bandar Sungai Petani. This was witnessed by District Governor Dr Krishna Kumar and the District First Lady PAG Pushpa and many Rotarians, friends and family members who had travelled far from around District 3300 and beyond.
