Rotarians partially assembling face shields donated by Rotary International Districts in Japan via a Rotary Foundation Global Grant for Malaysian frontliners. Thanks to Rotary Club of Senawang, the partner club in District 3300 Malaysia.
Rotarians delivered the following items to the Remand Prison in Penang Island :-
70 boxes of nitrile gloves (50 pairs each)
150 bottles of 500ml hand sanitisers
250 boxes of face masks (50 pieces)
1,000 pieces of Dettol soap
Rotarians Thiaggu, Koek, Arvind, Kenz, Jaga and Rev Alfred picked up at iCare Pharmacy and transported to the prison for the handover at 2pm.
This project is part of Micron Memory Malaysia's COVID-19 relief initiative.

IPDG Lioh finally meets Rotarian Darmavathy, PHF, whom he inducted in the historic first ever Rotarian induction via Zoom on 29th April 2020.
Rotary Club of Bandar Sungai Petani bring masks and hand sanitizers to SJKC Sin Kwang in Sungai Petani to fight COVID-19. These were sponsored by Micron Memory Malaysia Sdn Bhd and American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM). A total of RM50,000 was sponsored for 27 schools, providing 5,000 quality fabric masks and 1,000 1L-bottles of hand sanitizers. Standing thermometers were supplies to one school.
Rotarians delivered another wheelchair on loan to a resident of Sungai Petani struggling with mobility in time of need.

Thank you Lions Club of Sungai Petani President G.K. Ramu for giving a talk on Fire Prevention. It was enlightening. President Ramu shared useful pointers on how to prevent and survive a house fire if it occurs.
After the meeting, polioplus contributions in Rotarians coin boxes were counted and credited to PolioPlus.
