Rotaractors of AIMST University host a visit from District 3300 Governor Dr Manohur Kurup23/11/2017 Districft Governor Dr Manohur was elated to hear of the 104 organ donor pledges garnered by Rotaractors during their recent convocation. District Governor Dr Manohur Kurup's official visit to Rotary Club of Bandar Sungai Petani22/11/2017 Rotary Club of Bandar Sungai Petani welcomed District 3300 Govenor Dr Manohur Kurup for his official visit to the club on 22nd Nov 2017. The visit was held at Park Avenue Hotel.

One of Rtn Sunil's last acts as President of the Rotary Club of Bandar Sungai Petani was to present the school uniforms to the students last Wednesday. A life spent in the service of others. Service Above Self Rotaractors of AIMST University helping out at Rumah Charis for post-flood care in Penang12/11/2017 Students from Rotaract Club of AIMST University helped to get the lives of old folks living in Rumah Charis in Relau back together by sorting out the post-flood chaos. They organized a group to lend a helping hand to the effort managed by District 3300's Penang Clubs, RC Penang, RC Tanjung Bungah and RC Georgetown on 10th November 2017.
It was hard work for a full day, but it was worth it and as Rotaractor Tharishine reports, "It was very satisfying at the end." Bravo, Rotaract Club of AIMST University. Thanks to Rotary Club of Penang, Mr Law of U-Kids and Mr Eric, students from 5 Schools in the environs of Sungai Petani will receive uniforms for the coming year. This is the third year that this project is running. Rotarians from Bandar Sungai Petani were present at the handover ceremony. Ms Vani, teacher film SJKT Palanisamy Kumaran, was also present to collect the uniforms on behalf of the students.
Other clubs participating in this project include Rotary Clubs of Georgetown, Tanjung Bungah, Butterworth, Seberang Jaya, Alor Setar and Perlis. A big "thank you" to Mr Samuel Shee of Howei, who enlightened us on his company's services for event ticketing and registration. They also promote events online, besides other event management services. PP Hery explains that proceeds from books sold at Rotary events will be channeled to PolioPlus.
