 Mental Health First Aid Training aims to train a wider community of School Counselors and Teachers so they can support the student's mental well-being. Rotary District 3300's District Action Group on Mental Health Initiatives has completed the Mental Health First Aid training for Schools Counselors and Teachers in Klang Valley, Ipoh, Penang, and Johor Bahru, where 113 participants had a great time learning new skills and were certified by MMHA (Malaysian Mental Health Association). Congratulations on the successful outcome! We are moving into Phase 2 to include additional regions: Klang Valley, Ipoh, Johor Bahru, Penang, Kedah, and Kota Bahru. Rotary Club of Bandar Sungai Petani and Pantai Hospital Sungai Petani are working together to host the training in Kedah on 17-18 July 2023 (8.00 am to 4.30 pm) at the Training Room at the admin block opposite the hospital. Hosted by   MHFA training in Ipoh  Location: https://goo.gl/maps/UmymuysrXdgRx7f3A  President Thiaggu led Rotarians to join Pantai Hospital Sungai Petani and the Forestry Department of Kedah to a tree-planting project at Bukit Perak, Pendang on Saturday 19 March 2023.      Rotarians collected another 33 sets of food packs from Pantai Hospital Sungai Petani and delivered them to families affected by COVID-19 lockdown. They delivered the packs to 33 families in Paya Nahu and Taman Keladi. Rotarians Kartik, Dhanesh, Jeevan and Koek in action.  CEO Ms Tio and Matron Katini joined Rotarians to distribute food aid at Kampung Titi Mandi Lembu, Sungai Petani. Urgent contributions of food items were handed over to Rotary Club of Bandar Sungai Petani by CEO MS Tio of Pantai Hospital Sungai Petani. They were immediately distributed by President Gopaldhass, Rotarians Koek, Jeevan, Sanmugam, Dhanesh and Rev Alfred to beneficiaries in Kampung Baru Jalan Taman Mewah and Taman Keladi  |
