Background to the project: In 2018, Jane Ollier, had just cycled out of Penang and were travelling on the mainland when Jane was hit by a car and was treated in the orthopaedics and occupational therapy department in Hospital Sultan Abdul Halim. Jane's wounds have now fully healed and, despite being left with scarring, she is fit enough to take part in sport. She has even returned to cycling! Her experience in hospital, both in Malaysia and England, have influenced her to change career from Designer to Physiotherapist. She is now working and studying in a hospital in Sussex and finds it very rewarding. She thanks the doctors and staff for their fabulous professional and dedicated care for her recovery. A message from Jane: "A big thank-you to all the wonderful staff at the Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital. I am lucky to have received such good treatment from everyone on the Orthopaedic team. You are very skilled and caring people and I am grateful for everything you did for me. You helped me feel comfortable and positive and I miss you all."
