Rotary Club of Bandar Sungai Petani will be hosting a mangrove planting project jointly-organized with Rotary Club of Perlis, Rotary Club of Alor Star, Rotary Club of Kulim and Rotaract Club of AIMST University. Guiding us in this project is Kuala Muda Forestry Department. We will plant 200 mangrove trees in Merbok Forest Reserve.

Our District Governor Dato' Bindi Rajasegaran will be joining us and the first to get her hands dirty planting mangrove trees.
President Gopaldhass and Service Chair Koek Yee Jeen were joined by District Community Service Chair Tajul of Rotary Club of Perlis to plan this program.
This project will kick off Rotary International District 3300's Mission 117 series of service projects and will be launched by District Governor Dato' Bindi Rajasegaran.
